Logo and branding for Dark Matter Distillers, Scotland’s only Rum distillery. The client came to Hampton Associates with very clear objectives; they didn’t want to brand their rum along traditional lines - the ‘fake heritage’ used by most rum brands - but to highlight the fact that they see distilling as a science, and themselves very much as ‘geeks wearing white coats in a lab’.

The brand was rolled out across labels and bottle packaging (based on the graphics found on chemicals and pharmaceuticals); website; and all marketing materials.
